Hulkbuster heavy duty rig now available on gumroad

I've finally gotten around to getting my hulkbuster rig for sale on gumroad.

The model is fully rigged and ready to animate.  It comes with 8k textures for damage and scratches and dust and stuff and has an option for mesh swaps for extra damage.
I also provided a scene file where you can simply load it.. pose and hit render and you'll get a pretty render (with Vray).

I'll be planningon doing some more mech rigs as time goes on as I really enjoy making them and it's good fun to animate too!

So here's a character I've been working on for a good while and he's finally coming together.  Fully rigged with facial FACS rig controls and I have setup a cloth rig system for him too (altho not evident in this clip).

This shot is very much inspired by the infinity war trailer and I added some simple facial anim in to test it out too!

Oh yeah Deadpool is also in this pic lol but I haven't had chance to do much with him lately!

Wow where does the time go?

So wow it's been a busy couple of years since my last 2017 post.  We finished on Thor Ragnarok and it was ace in the end!  Hard work but the whole film was super enjoyable.

I was asked to work on Infinity War in 2018 but sadly my spine gave out in early January and i ended up on a ton of meds (some very addictive) and then needed to go for private surgery to have it dealt with. It took time and lots of getting back on my feet but I got through it. It's still not 100% even now with the odd niggle and twinge but compared to how I was I can live with it.

So as I recovered through the year I spent some time doing my own stuff.. I did a little contract work here and there and near the end of year I was asked if I wanted to help work on Spiderman far from home.. the marvel sequel to Spiderman homecoming.  I started in January of this year and for six months shuttled up and down to London each wkend with a couple of bags and a regular airbnb joint to sleep at that was walking distance to office and train station.  I basically worked all week then went home Friday night to see my wife and kid.. then back to London Sunday evening.
Overall the sequence we worked on was great fun.. known as the illusion battle we see spidey take on Mysterio in a really surreal mind trip where Mysterio reveals how powerful he is and also manages to get spidey severely hurt in the process. It was a fantastic sequence to work on and a ton of hard work.
After that I was then on Hobbs and Shaw for a couple of months and then I returned home for July. 

Early in the year I got setup with my own office.. it's a proper office away from home that requires me to put on pants to get there lol. Anyway after returning back home to the north west I landed some contract work on a forthcoming Netflix show doing a bunch of previs so that's been really cool fun and fantastic to do from my office.

So what's next.. well October is holiday month! After 9 solid months of working long hours I've earned a break haha.  So family and me going on holiday for a few days really soon.

After that I'll probably chase some more remote working and definitely work from my office because it's much less stressful with no travel involved. Don't really need a car either!

I have plans to put together a new sequence and I've been chipping away at that this last year.. it's a giant amount of work but I'll be posting some updates to this space.. Insta..  Twitter and YouTube with some more video update blogs and some other images!

I think ill leave this post here for now as I have a truckload of stuff I want to upload that is backdated from the last year lol!
